Message from the LTG
LTG John L. Natterstad (USAVR)
The rendering of Military Funeral Honors for the United States Armed Forces Veterans is a tribute to show our Nation's deep gratitude to those who, in time of war and peace, have faithfully defended our country. The Congress of the United States passed legislations to provide Military Funeral Honors Ceremonies to all veterans. The United States Volunteers - Joint Services Command was created to perform Military Funeral Honors as the primary mission and to provide support to our communities in natural disasters. The USV-JSC Volunteers are dedicated citizens who are committed to accomplishing these missions. To all of our USV-JSC Volunteers, I would like to say thank you. If you would like to join the USV-JSC and perform these missions, go to our website and fill out an Application for Membership.
